Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center

A cooperative endeavor with Livingston Parish School System

Welcome to the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center!

The Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center’s goal is to improve the level of education and quality of life for the citizens of Livingston Parish. Through the center’s programs, adults and children will attain long-term economic benefits associated with improved education; become more comfortable with reading, writing, math, science, and technology; and become better informed on environmental issues in modern society.

Southeastern is proud to partner with the Livingston Parish School System to offer a variety of educational programs.   Our exciting and life-enriching programs include Southeastern college courses Spring 2009, high school elective classes, summer academic camps, community music school, and our new Community Education Program.  Our Community Education Program for Spring 09 includes continuing education programs, and a Spring Calendar of Events. Call 225.665.3303 or email us livingston@selu.edu for more information.

Funded by a $4.5 million judgment in the federal environmental class action suit known as Combustion, Inc., the 39,000 square foot facility opened in Walker, La., in fall 2005. This new cooperative venture further strengthens Southeastern’s long-standing successful relationship with the Livingston Parish School System and the citizens of Livingston Parish.
